Summer and Special Programs

Our Summer Programs offer more than 150 areas of study and provide another way to customize your Temple education. Courses are available at our Main, Ambler and Center City campuses.

Students often take summer courses so they can

  • focus on just one or two courses at a time;
  • prepare for study abroad;
  • complete an internship for credit, or have more time for an internship during the fall or spring semester;
  • create a more flexible schedule during the fall or spring semester;
  • fit in a double major or minor; and
  • graduate early.

This virtual information session focuses on what opportunities students have to take courses at our U.S. campuses over the summer. Many Temple students choose to study abroad over the summer. Learn more about our overseas campuses and study abroad programs

Proranger Program

Have you ever dreamed of one day working at the Grand Canyon or the Everglades? Temple’s Proranger Program is a partnership between the university and the National Parks Service to recruit and train law enforcement park rangers for U.S. National Parks.

After successfully graduating from Temple and meeting all Proranger Program requirements and standards, students are eligible for non-competitive conversion to a position as a law enforcement ranger within the National Park Service.
