Welcome to the College of Education and Human Development

The College of Education and Human Development at Temple University is driven by the most current research and best practices. Our students are problem-solvers, innovators and creative thinkers. As part of our community, you’ll debate ideas in the abstract, then apply them in practical ways to address the concrete situations that challenge educators every day. You’ll become committed to education and human development, using tools and new models of teaching and learning that empower all students, schools, organizations and communities in a rapidly expanding and complex world.

We are particularly committed to serving communities in the Philadelphia region. You’ll have opportunities to participate in fieldwork in neighboring schools and community organizations to prepare for your career as a future educator.
