The College of Liberal Arts at Temple University prepares you to become an innovator in your field, no matter which industry you pursue. We are home to more than 5,500 students across 28 departments and programs that offer a focused liberal arts college experience within a premier urban research university with multiple campus locations.

Zimri Hinshaw ’20

Major: Economics

Zimri Hinshaw, a College of Liberal Arts alum, started his business in a dorm room. Now, he employs 22 people at his biotech company, Bucha Leather, Inc. which manufactures a plastic-free substitute for everything from leather to latex.

Andrea Morales Loucil ’20

Major: History

Andrea Morales Loucil was named a recipient of the Gates Cambridge Scholarship—an honor only 79 other students have been awarded this year. As a Gates Cambridge Scholar, she receives a full scholarship toward any postgraduate degree offered at the University of Cambridge.

Double Major: Political Science and Geography and Urban Studies
