Welcome to Boyer College of Music and Dance
As part of Temple’s Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts, Boyer College of Music and Dance is committed to developing and supporting our talented students. We promote and nurture music and dance as vital forms of art and expressions of the human experience. Graduates are not only highly trained artists and academics, but also informed and perceptive audiences.
Our majors span education, performance and theory. Classes are taught by world-class choreographers, musicians and scholars, and you can refine and perform your work in our performing arts venues and music halls. Philadelphia’s culturally rich environment enables students to take on all forms of music and dance, and perform themselves at some of the city’s greatest venues.
As a student at Boyer, you’ll be a part of an inclusive community that honors the uniqueness of the individual, values diversity of perspective, and upholds the belief that dance and music are central to society and culture.
